Can I just go to the facility ODRC in Orient Ohio and they have a kiosk machine that he can get money right away so he could buy himself stuff? Without me being approved but I still send the money if I come

Just like everyone else payment isn’t going through. Waste of an app and waste of many people’s time. If it wasn’t hard enough already. This is ridiculous

This app need improvements takes almost a week just to get one message always have errors

They have made having a LO locked up even harder. They quick to take my money but they have yet to give me what I paid for i get one error after another and now can’t even accept calls which I could prior

One star because I couldn’t rate any lower. They lie about giving refunds. They literally set up so much red tape and hurdles when trying to be refunded in effort to keep you from being able to collect it so they can keep it. Additionally, their refund is a check by mail that, as they stated, takes “6 to 10 weeks to process”….not receive but to process. Research other avenues instead of the GTL apps or only deposit money in very small amounts. Ultimately they are a scam and are set up to keep your money.

I wasted my time downloading this app and repeatedly re-reading the directions because there’s no where to select messaging/email… I would include a pic if it was available. Uninstalling right now!!!

I will never use this app again

I have reached out to this company numerous times and still no help. My loved one is incarcerated and every time I try to add money through the app, over the phone or with a representative, I’m still declined. Different cards, still declined, the cards aren’t being declined for no other place in the world, just GTL, I’m told to wait days, still declined. The facilities need to use another provider because this company is losing them money. This is ridiculous,and needs to stop! Imagine going through something like this, and no one cares.

They double charge and customer service is horrible!

Impossible to get through to costumer service. Calls constantly drop, or simply will not let you answer the call. Horrible service. Money that goes missing. I feel sorry for anyone trying to communicate with their loved ones and forced to use this app

It doesn’t allow you to send inmates money for phone calls anymore.

The help/contact tab doesn’t work. If you click email you can fill in all the info but never actually get to submit the help request because the tab asking what topic you are requesting help for doesn’t even work. So the app won’t let you complete your email help request to the gtl company. Seems pretty deliberate to me. So if you message them and say their account is suspended for disciplinary reason, you don’t get notified. Your loved one is just gone. You have no idea why and just get to worry the whole time. And if you’ve been paying to send messages, no guarantees when suspension is lifted, your already sent messages will even be delivered. Even tho you paid for them. And w the way facilities transfer to new apps, if you’ve go from gtl to getting out.. your money doesn’t transfer or get refunded. So if you put more money on there than immediately needed they just keep your money. And they can never tell you when the transition has or will happen. I’ve been told 3 different things each time I call. Yes it’s serviced by us. No it’s no longer serviced by us. Only to find out it is still serviced by them. They have no definitive info on literally anything. And even tho you are paying to send emails to your loved one they will not print out the emails and deliver them even tho you paid for a correspondence service. Your message just never gets to them and you never get your money back. Josh used to would atleast print your email and hand deliver to the inmate like a letter. Basically every policy is wishy washy and isn’t designed to care about executing services paid for. Just designed to take your money and make a profit. And I don’t see them actually changing or implementing anything to guarantee services are rendered. Atleast not until they get sued again.

Won’t let me verify on GTL get out and the GO visits apps was able to put money on the prepay advance but I’m unable to message because they won’t let me verify and customer service hasn’t called me back or answer even though they’re 24/7

App no longer allows Trust Fund Deposits

This app needs issues resolved. It hasn’t had any updates for over a year now. Functions don’t work properly. I called customer service and they said there’s no problem on their end. Fix the app and hold accountability, stop being greedy and just taking our money and not helping.

This app is a fraud. I can never find my family member on there when it comes to the Department of corrections in Pennsylvania and I’m gonna put in a petition to make sure they don’t get no contract when Anymore I haven’t been able to write my loved one in months.

Unable to send inmate messaging after the new year

So up until today was working fine. Now it’s saying information not syncing, error 402 not found, no network connection, etc. I have no issues with any other apps or actions on my phone except this app. Then goes into an eternal loading loop. Mostly happens when clicking on a message to read. But also when booting up the app. Please fix.

How do I message an inmate on here ?can someone help me?

Always having problems. Option to add money to phone just disappears. Customer services says delete app and download again in 30 minutes. Wish I could give zero stars.

Customer service doesn’t help at all! My online payments have not gone through in months it’s such an inconvenience to go to the kiosk . Called and they said it’s a problem with my bank but I called my bank and they said everything is fine on their end. Transactions get approved but gtl blocks/reverses them. So my bank isn’t the issue but gtl is saying that it’s not them either. Frustrating I’ve been having this issue for months. They said my account isn't blocked so i don’t tknow why this is still an issue. Plus they kept one payment but it’s credited to my account

My app will not even load anymore so I can’t see it I have messages and can not even message on there. It doesn’t go past the circling loading icon when you first open the app. It does no good. Can’t message and can’t add money to the trust fund.

The app doesn’t work on my iPhone. It won’t send pictures, the app doesn’t update sometimes. I can type messages and try to send them, for them to fail to send due to an error, and it won’t be saved in my drafts so Inhave to retype it. Fix It!

My credits continue to disappear then comes back later when I try to send a mssg it say I have no credits then after a while my credits reappear and I’m able to use it again. The jails abt to be sick of cuz I be damned if I let GTL keep Doing a Steal Drill on my account then putting it back like sike naw 🤔

Having Securus worked so much better now I need 60 apps just to talk to one inmate? Then I have to place money on those apps separately?? Connect network doesn’t even help you find your inmate just tells you “inmate not found” yet all the other apps have him on there! Not happy

This apps robs you of your money. Purchased 40 credits, used 3 of them, logged in to app only to find 0 credits left. This app is definitely a scam and I don’t advise using it. On top of the scam, it takes 6 to 8 hours to receive a message after it has been sent. Now I see why this app is being dropped this December. Don’t get robbed, wait the few days for the new replacement messaging system.

Don’t waste your money

The app takes days to deliver messages and doesn’t notify you when there is a new message! Paying money to send a message to my loved one is ridiculous if no one is being notified of new messages. Fix the notifications or make messaging free.

This is sad.. not only do y’all charge for every little thing jsut to make a call but the app don’t work half the time and contact number is always busy.. how do you expect people to add money and more when the app don’t work half the time

I've been contacting them about how messed up the app is and that I want my money back they made it a big deal and said I need to talk to the supervisor and then hung up on me they owe me about 500$ don't put more than 50$ on it seems like they take more of your money and charge extra with calls are supposed to be only 3$ no way two called takes me to 20$ when I put 50$ on there same for text they won't approve my children's photos for over months and still never charged my card back its money most times the app won't even work over been putting money on there and the last time I went to put money on my phone it said -44$ how is it negative anything when the money been taken off my account

Where can I message? In the photos on the App Store, there is an icon on the top right that shows a pencil. In my app, this does not exist. How can I send a message?

After submitting multiple payment attempts on the website, with valid payments methods with thousands of dollars of room despair, I was unable to send as much as $25. Out of desperation, I downloaded this app and repeated the process to no avail. as a nice bonus, I use the Collins platform where I was only able to submit a maximum of nine dollars using their keypad system that is clearly not functioning properly because every time I typed in two digits it only accepted one. So that I could submit was nine dollars and they took their fee out of that to yield a little more than five dollars total. Then, I had the pleasure of waiting on hold for over 30 minutes to try to reach a customer service rep and then I’d simply gave up. There was an award for technology in existence Along with absentee customer service, these folks would have a platinum metal

this app will scam you and if you try to call or resolve issues it’ll make you send money orders to texas and other places. when you talk to customer service after 1 hour of waiting on the phone all they literally tell you is the department is currently closed and they don’t do call backs or don’t tell me when they open. “under blah blah blah i can’t give you that information” like that’s literally the information is needed for me to use this app. it’s like they don’t want you to keep spending money. someone please make a better app these people are scammers and they are taking advantage of many of americans vulnerabilities

Messages coming through three plus weeks later and they are not receiving my messages this is horrible

Apparently, my number was used before it was my number, so now I can’t use the same number because somebody else has previously used it. Please tell me how that makes sense when you call customer service and all they say is well I apologize, but you can’t use any application because your number was previously used before it was yours. however, it’s plastered all over the website to download the app to add money for communication and you can’t even do that.

They take more money off ur account when it shouldn’t be as much as they took… The call rep told me to delete the app and redownload it and the right amount will come up… I just did as he said and now they want all my credit card information in order the app back!!!!! Why do y’all need my card information when I’m the one adding the funds to my own phone???? Like I said they be scamming us out our money….
